PERFUME REVIEW: Dunhill brown

Dunhill by Alfred Dunhill is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men. Dunhill was launched in 2003. The nose behind this fragrance is Michel Almairac. Top notes are lavender, clary sage, geranium and lemon; middle notes are carnation, iris, orris root, jasmine, cedar and rose; base notes are leather, sandalwood, tonka bean, musk, oakmoss, vetiver and cedar.

PERFUME:REVIEW:aQUA DI GIO

Inspired by beauty of Pantellerie, where he spent his vacation, Armani created the aroma of Aqua di Gio for men. The fragrance for men is a scent of freedom, full of wind and water. The composition is built of a perfect harmony of sweet and salty notes of sea water and nuances of sunny warmth on your skin. Aqua di Gio is full of scorching Mediterranean sun. Bitter citrus with aromatic nuance of rosemary intertwines with salty, sea nuances and pellucid hedione. Sharp notes of spices are softened by woody base with warm, musky trail.
It was created in 1996 by Alberto Morillas.

PERFUME REVIEW: ESCADA TAJ SUNSET

Taj Sunset is the Escada limited edition for 2011. Exotic, juicy and summery as always, Escada Taj Sunset opens with notes of Alphonso mango, nectarine and blood orange. The heart features aquatic flowers with raspberry and pomarosa or Malay apple. The base consists of coconut, sandalwood and musk.

PERFUME REVIEW:Cinema Yves Saint Laurent for women

Cinema can make every woman feel like a star. It is a fragrance for glamorous women who live under the spotlights, self-confident and elegant, women who know how to draw the attention. A seductive flavor reminds of Hollywood beauties from the romantic love movies, glamourous evening gowns, Hollywood hairstyles, high heels, black seamed stockings…
The top note is delicate and softly fresh (clementine, almond blossom and cyclamen). The heart reveals jasmine, peony and amaryllis. The drydown is warm, opulent, and balsamic with amber, musk and sweet powdery vanilla. The fragrance was created by Jacques Cavallier.

Among the top 10 in the luxury arena of beauty!High aims of the Burberry brand are supported by the announcement that this will be one of the key editions in the fragrance collection of the house. The composition of the new fragrance My Burberry opens with sweet peas and citrusy notes of bergamot leading to geranium, freesia flowers and golden quince in the heart. The fragrance is rounded up with patchouli in the base, joined with Damascus and Centifolia rose! The perfumer of the composition My Burberry is Francis Kurkdjian!

PERFUME REVIEW; Gentleman only

Givenchy launches a new fragrance for men in 2013. Gentlemen Only is a modern homage to the classic fragrance of the house - Givenchy Gentlemen from 1974. This fragrance was once revolutionary amongst masculine fragrance introducing strong and intense woody notes instead of the traditional aromatic and citrusy ones.
Gentlemen Only is intended to men of our times; it is designed around modern woody nuances. The composition opens with fresh and spicy accords of green mandarin, pink pepper, nutmeg and birch leaves. Deep and intense woody character is provided by the heart of cedar, patchouli and vetiver. The base captures incense and animalistic notes.

PERFUME REVIEW: D&G pour femme

Designer duo Dolce & Gabbana launched their first perfume Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme in 1992,  this perfume  marked the decade of the nineties. In 2012, the designers have decided to "return to the roots" and to re-launch the two fragrances.

The new Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme begins with notes of neroli, raspberry and tangerine leading to the heart of jasmine and orange blossom, over the base of marshmallow, vanilla, sandalwood and heliotrope.

PERFUME REVIEW: Creed Silver Mountain Water

 

Silver Mountain Water by Creed is an Aromatic fragrance for men. Inspired by Olivier Creed's fondness for skiing, Silver Mountain Water was designed to evoke the sparkling high-mountain streams of water in the Swiss Alps.
The white bottle capped with a silver cap resembles a snow-topped mountain with a glistening silver stream.
The fragrance opens with bergamot and mandarin, followed by a heart featuring green tea and black currant. The base is composed of Galbanum, musk, sandalwood and petit grain. Silver Mountain Water was launched in 1995. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed Sixth Generation.

PERFUME REVIEW: Black xs

 

Black XS was created in 2005 by Olivier Cresp. This perfume is definitely masculine. Knowing the desire of some women to wear men’s fragrances, it can be said that no woman would dare to wear Black XS despite of its soft and warm woodsy notes and even sweet notes of the drydown. Citrusy opening makes a great introduction into the sweet and spicy heart of the composition. Deep and dark sweet fruity notes of the heart are replaced by woodsy notes and amber in the base. In such sweet surrounding amber tends to take a tobacco nuance, while the musk tames the extreme masculinity of this scent. Black XS features fresh lemon notes, Kalamanzi fruit, tagetes, sage, praline, cardamom, cinnamon, Tou balsam, rosewood, black amber, patchouli and ebony.
Black XS was created by Olivier Cresp and Rosendo Mateu.

PERFUME REVIEW ON TOMFORD TUSCAN LEATHER

You would agree with me that there is something so deliciously appealing and seductive about the scent of leather, whether it is the scent of a new car, an old vintage purse, a pair of new shoes still wrapped in crinkly paper, or equestrian gear. Whether rendered as animalic and sweet or smoky and phenolic in fragrances, leather notes can give a remarkable complexity to even the simplest accords. Tuscan Leather, a fragrance created for Tom Ford Private Blend collection by perfumers Harry Frémont and Jacques Cavallier is one of my favorite recent discoveries. It is not a particularly complex fragrance; in fact, it is almost a single accord. Nevertheless, it features the leather note so well and with such elegance, that whenever I am in the mood for a dark, smoky scent, it is the perfume I choose.

PERFUME REVIEW: Creed Aventus.

 

Aventus celebrates strength, vision and success, inspired by the dramatic life of war, peace and romance lived by Emperor Napoleon. The bottle is emblazoned with a silver emblem of a horse and rider.
The finest ingredients were hand-selected for this composition, and father and son developed this provocative, masculine and optimistic fragrance as a joint effort.
Top notes: blackcurrant, bergamot, apple and pineapple. Heart: rose, dry birch, Moroccan jasmine and patchouli. Base: oak moss, musk, ambergris, and vanilla.
 Aventus was launched in 2010. Aventus was created by Olivier Creed Sixth Generation and Erwin Creed Seventh Generation.

PERFUME REVIEW: Black Orchid by Tom Ford

 

Black Orchid was created by perfume creators of fragrance company Givaudan in 2006. It was announced as oriental chypre. The top notes are French jasmine, black truffle, ylang-ylang, black currant and effervescent citrus. In the floral-spicy heart, dwells the Tom Ford's black orchid, imaginary more than real, and the base combines woodsy notes (patchouli and sandalwood), dark chocolate, incense, amber, vetiver, vanilla and balsam.
"Black Orchid is opulent, classically dark; its fragrance is in line with the best creations of the best perfume houses. Luxurious and sensual fragrance with rich dark trace of black orchid and spices, modern and timeless. " It remains to be said that Black Orchid is long lasting and with wide spread aura.
"This is not about an ordinary orchid, it's about something a little more strange and rare. I wanted the blackest orchid, and those aren't easy to find." The perfume is luxurious and the product range includes Eau de Parfum in 50ml (at US$90) and 100ml (at US$135) bottles, and limited edition of 5.000 15ml bottles of Parfum at US$600. The distribution is limited.

PERFUME REVIEW: new musk oil

 

New Musk Oil by Dame Perfumery Scottsdale is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. New Musk Oil was launched in 2015. The fragrance notes are identical to the Dame Perfumery Scottsdale New Musk Man cologne, but at double the concentration here, in an oil base. The fragrance features lemon, plum, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, rose, vanilla, sandalwood and musk.
New Musk Oil is available in quantities of 20 ml and 5 ml.

PERFUME REVIEW: 212 AQUA

 

212 Aqua, introduced by Carolina Herrera as Herrera aqua,is an Aromatic Aquatic fragrance for men. 212 Aqua was launched in 2004. Herrera Aqua was created by Carlos Benaim and Rosendo Mateu. Top notes are bamboo leaf, mandarin orange, fig leaf and bergamot; middle notes are rosemary, white pepper, lavender and neroli; base notes are tonka bean, amber, musk and vetiver.

PERFUME REVIEW: Coco mademoiselle (madam coco)

 

Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women. Coco Mademoiselle was launched in 2001. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Polge. Top notes are orange, mandarin orange, orange blossom and bergamot; middle notes are mimosa, jasmine, turkish rose and ylang-ylang; base notes are tonka bean, patchouli, opoponax, vanilla, vetiver and white musk. This perfume is the winner of award FiFi Award Best National Advertising Campaign / TV 2008.
